Omakotitalo, La Capellania, Costa del Sol

South-facing villa on a double plot with sea views in La Capellanía, Benalmádena.

Set across two adjoining plots totalling 1,281 m², this detached villa offers something increasingly rare in La Capellanía: real space around the house. Tall pines, palms and bougainvillea give the garden privacy, and the sea views can be enjoyed from much of the house and the outdoor areas.

The spacious living room combines a lounge area around the fireplace with a dining area set a step up, giving each its own character while keeping the room open and sociable. Wide glass doors lead out to an arched, covered terrace, so inside and outside flow together seamlessly. The kitchen has an island and opens to a bright breakfast area and a second terrace with an awning, ideal for everyday meals or a barbecue.

At the other end of the house, a bar lounge offers a separate space for entertaining, alongside a further bedroom, currently used as a laundry room, and a bathroom. Together they could easily become a guest wing or a self-contained space for visiting family.

Upstairs, the first floor has two bedrooms (one with sea views) and a shared bathroom. The top floor is given over entirely to the main suite, with a bedroom, a dressing room lined with wardrobes, a marble bathroom with a corner bath and its own private terrace overlooking the coast.

Marble floors run throughout the house, and there's also air conditioning.

Outside, the pool is surrounded by sun terraces, with a dining terrace facing the sea and a large lawn beyond, leaving room for children, pets or your own garden plans. A double garage with workshop space sits beneath the plot with direct road access. At the other end of the plot, a second gate opens onto a short driveway that leads up towards the house.

The area: La Capellanía is a quiet hillside neighbourhood of detached villas and mature greenery, close to Carvajal beach and a short drive from Benalmádena's restaurants, shops and marina.
