Appartamento al piano intermedio a La Cala de Mijas, Costa del Sol

Calanova Golf, La Cala de Mijas: bright two-bedroom apartment with tourist licence, glass-curtain terrace and views across the valley and mountains

The first thing you notice is the light. The apartment sits on the first floor in Calanova Golf, one of the most established and best-kept communities in La Cala de Mijas, and its 74 square metres open onto a fully glass-curtained terrace of 21 square metres. The terrace is what makes this home. The glass curtains turn it into a room in its own right, open and airy through the summer months, sheltered and snug when the evenings cool down, and usable every single month of the year.

The view stretches out across the valley and the mountains, with the communal pool directly below and the greens of the golf course visible between the buildings. This is where the morning coffee ends up. So do the dinners, and they tend to run longer than planned.

The layout holds two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen with appliances, generous wardrobe space and air conditioning with both heating and cooling. Built in 2008 and well maintained throughout, move-in ready with nothing that needs doing first. A private garage space and a separate storage room are included, and the building has lift access.

The community is gated with 24-hour security, a communal pool and beautifully maintained gardens. The location is hard to beat: midway between Fuengirola and Marbella, a few minutes from La Cala village and the beach, with several of the Costa del Sol's finest golf courses within easy reach and around half an hour to Málaga airport.

The property holds a tourist licence, VUT/MA/102656, and tourist rental is approved by the community. With the golf course on the doorstep, the beach close by and the airport half an hour away, the apartment is as well suited to renting out as it is to living in.

Offered with vacant possession and available for immediate viewing.

A holiday home of your own in one of Mijas Costa's most established golf communities, easy to lock up and leave, and ready to rent out in the meantime.
