Willa wolnostojąca – Javea, Costa Blanca

Nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Tarraula, in the sought-after municipality of Jávea, this characterful traditional finca sits proudly on a generous rustic plot of over 3,000m², enveloped by the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside. From the moment you arrive, it is clear that this is a property of genuine soul — one where the rhythm of rural life, timeless architecture and breathtaking natural scenery combine to create something truly special.

The main residence is a testament to traditional Valencian craftsmanship. Elegant tosca stone arches frame the interior spaces, while original beam and barrel ceilings lend an undeniable warmth and authenticity that simply cannot be replicated in modern construction. Every detail speaks of a time when homes were built to last and to be lived in with purpose. The naya — that quintessential covered terrace of the region — stretches out to greet the horizon, offering mesmerising views across the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean and the iconic Bay of Jávea. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the long, golden evenings this part of Spain is so renowned for.

The plot itself is a sanctuary. Surrounded by orange groves and open valley, with the majestic Montgó mountain as a constant and dramatic backdrop, the outlook from this property is one of the finest in the area. The eye travels effortlessly from mountain to valley, across the fragrant groves and all the way to the golden arc of Arenal beach below. Privacy is absolute, tranquility is guaranteed — this is countryside living at its very finest, yet with all the amenities of central Jávea just minutes away.

Complementing the main house is a fully reformed, self-contained guest house, offering two bedrooms and two bathrooms with its own private entrance. Whether used for visiting family and friends, a live-in caretaker, or as a rental opportunity, this beautifully presented annexe has been finished to a contemporary standard while respecting the traditional character of the estate. A large swimming pool serves as the centrepiece of the outdoor entertaining area — the ideal place to cool off beneath the summer sun and soak in those remarkable views.

For those with vision, this property represents a truly exciting prospect. While it is already a home of enormous charm and liveability, the scale of the plot and the bones of the existing buildings present a wealth of possibilities to develop, extend and refine to the highest of contemporary standards. Whether you choose to restore sympathetically, redesign boldly, or simply enjoy it as it is, the potential here is as vast as the views.

Privacy. Tranquility. Authenticity. Potential. Tarraula has it all.
