Szeregowiec – El Chaparral, Costa del Sol

Corner townhouse for sale, renovated and surrounded by green space in Mijas Some homes you see, and some you feel. This is one of the latter.

A corner townhouse in Jockey Villas (Mijas Costa), a quiet gated community of 62 homes.

The property was renovated between 2023 and 2025, including the kitchen, bathroom, floors, windows and other parts of the house. It sits in a particularly quiet spot within the community, next to a communal green area and with views towards the natural surroundings of Mijas.

Ground floor: entrance hall with the original hydraulic floor tiles behind a glass screen, living-dining room with a fully renovated open-plan kitchen, new floors and windows and direct access to the garden, plus a guest toilet.

First floor: main bedroom, second bedroom and a fully rebuilt bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower and new taps. The former terrace has been enclosed and is now a bright room used as a dressing room or home office.

Outdoors: front patio with plants and a porch, and a private garden at the back with two areas: artificial grass for the children and a terrace for the afternoons. Together they add up to 52 m². It gets sun from the morning until early afternoon. As a corner property, the house borders a communal lawn that hardly anyone uses, so from the garden it feels much more spacious than the square metres suggest.

Comfort and efficiency: hot/cold air conditioning in every room, new double-glazed windows with privacy film, and solar panels installed in 2024. With them, the energy certificate is rated A.

Garage and storage room: underground parking space with an electric car charger, in the basement of a nearby building within the community (about 130 m on foot). Large storage room of about 12 m² with a 5 m high ceiling. It is a communal element for the private use of this home.

Community: two swimming pools with lawns and well-kept gardens.

Costs: • Community fees: €90/month, pools and gardening included • IBI (property tax): €498/year • Rubbish collection: €152/year

Location: 5 minutes by car from La Cala de Mijas, the Miramar shopping centre and the motorway, about a 15-minute walk to the sea and about 25 minutes from Málaga airport.
