Takvåning i Benahavís, Costa del Sol

This lovely penthouse, within the sought-after Los Arqueros community in Benahavís, combines an elevated, tranquil setting with sweeping views out toward the Mediterranean, all just a short drive from the buzz of Marbella and Puerto Banús. On clear winter days, the outlook extends even further, taking in Gibraltar and the north coast of Africa on the horizon.

A generous south-facing terrace is one of the property's defining features, offering sun throughout the day along with views over the golf course, surrounding hillside, and coastline beyond. Set on the top floor with no neighbours above, and with complete privacy from surrounding apartments carefully ensured by renowned English builders Taylor Woodrow, the terrace is genuinely unoverlooked — a true retreat despite the penthouse's position within the wider building. Inside, the layout is bright and open, with living space that flows naturally out to the terrace for effortless al fresco living. The accommodation comprises three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite, together with a well-equipped kitchen designed for everyday practicality. Furnishings are available by separate negotiation.

A private lift serves this third-floor apartment exclusively, connecting directly to the secure underground parking and a large storage unit — a genuinely useful feature when the weather turns or the shopping bags are heavy, with no need to navigate the stairs.

As part of the Los Arqueros development, owners have access to manicured communal gardens and two private pools: a larger pool just in front of the building, offering a peaceful first impression before heading down, and a smaller, heated pool by the main entrance for year-round use. The gated community benefits from mobile security patrolling around the clock, alongside entry security for the wider Los Arqueros estate. Residents also enjoy an 18-hole golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros, a tennis club, numerous paddle courts at the clubhouse, a bowling alley, and a range of restaurants and shops.

Simply put, this penthouse offers one of the most private and panoramic outlooks of any home in Los Arqueros.
