Studio Apartment with Sea Views, Benalmádena Costa

Some properties need selling and some just need showing. This one is the second kind. Diana sits second line beach in Benalmádena Costa, and from the communal pool you walk straight out onto the sand. There is a pool bar and cafe on site through the season, so lunch and a cold drink never involve going anywhere, and the marina is a few minutes away on foot.

The studio itself has an entrance hall, a small kitchen area and a separate bathroom, and the sea view is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It is in move in condition and can be used exactly as it is, though some modernising would bring it up to date and add value at the same time.

This is about as easy as owning on the coast gets. Lock the door, fly home, and come back to it whenever you like. Community fees are €65 a month, which keeps the running costs low for a property you may only use part of the year.

There is no tourist licence in place at present, but the community of owners does permit them, so applying for one is worth exploring. That makes it worth a look for investors as well as for anyone wanting a simple base in the sun.

All the main bus routes run close by, so you can move up and down the coast easily without a car.

Priced at €225,000. Beach access this direct, with a sea view and low running costs, is not something that comes up often at this level.
