Фінка/Сільський маєток – Villanueva del Trabuco, Costa del Sol

Some homes photograph beautifully. This cortijo has to be experienced in person.

Just approximately 35 minutes from Málaga, you will find this exceptional, fully renovated Andalusian cortijo, surrounded by olive groves, tranquillity, and breathtaking views. A charming property featuring two independent living quarters, a swimming pool, and a character-filled garden with patios, terraces, and hidden corners, offering remarkably diverse possibilities.

From the moment you step inside, there is always something new to discover: an authentic patio, a more than one-hundred-year-old wooden door, terraces, sheltered lounge areas, and rooms with exposed wooden beams and beautiful tiled floors. It is precisely this succession of spaces and atmospheres that makes this cortijo so special and so difficult to capture fully in photographs and videos. The property has been lovingly renovated, with great care taken to preserve its authentic character. Solid wooden doors, terracotta roof tiles, wrought-iron details, and distinctive tiled floors create a warm, timeless Andalusian ambiance throughout.

MAIN HOUSE The original part of the property offers two inviting living rooms, a dining room, a spacious bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, an office, and a fully equipped kitchen. From one of the living rooms, you step directly into the enchanting patio: a wonderful setting for long dinners, a good glass of wine, and evenings beneath the stars.

On the first floor, there are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, three of which are en-suite. Two of the bedrooms also feature private terraces with stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

GUEST HOUSE The separate guest house has its own entrance and includes a living room, kitchen, guest toilet, and storage room. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom and a private terrace.

This layout offers exceptional flexibility: comfortable living with family and friends, hosting guests while maintaining privacy, or combining private use with rental opportunities.

OUTDOOR LIVING TO DREAM OF The plot of approximately 1,219 m² is a collection of green corners, terraces, lounge areas, and inviting outdoor spaces. The swimming pool forms the heart of outdoor living, while the covered lounge invites you to enjoy long summer days. There are two outdoor showers with hot and cold water, as well as a built-in barbecue.

In addition, there is a large garage, parking facilities, and several outbuildings. The cortijo is equipped with central heating. The outbuildings offer opportunities to create additional spaces, such as a studio, fitness room, or extra bedrooms, subject of course to applicable planning regulations and any required permits.
